Welcome

AMADEUS! Chamber Orchestra is a youth music education organization in the Pittsburgh area performing quality classical chamber music under the direction of our Artistic Director,  Augustin Martinovic. Personalized instruction and a stimulating environment enable children ages 9 to 17 to perform solo and cooperatively as an orchestra. Excellence is achieved by public presentation to classical music lovers, general public and professionals, in traditional musical settings, as well as by enthusiastically promoting chamber music to youth in different communities.

AMADEUS! associates with  local music societies such as the Pittsburgh Chamber Music Society to perform pre-concerts at the Pittsburgh Carnegie Music Hall. The children have the opportunity to learn from internationally outstanding music professionals while developing their  musicianship

AMADEUS! Chamber Orchestra is program within Martinovic Classical Music Studio.

Daniel Pearl was a newspaper reporter and a violin player who traveled the world and used music to make friends in many countries. In 2002, he was murdered by terrorists while investigating a story in Pakistan. His family decided to carry on Danny's work and use music to help people learn to respect each other and honor diversity.

October 10 was Danny's birthday, and this performance is part of Daniel Pearl World Music Days. This month, in all over the world, musicians of all kinds are dedicating concerts to our shared belief that even though we may have different races, religions or ethnic backgrounds, we can all work together to achieve a better, hate free world for everyone.

We are pleased to inform you that President Barack Obama has issued a Presidential Statement in which he welcomes all World Music Days participants:

I send my warmest greetings to all who are gathered for the
8th Annual Daniel Pearl World Music Days.

Music has been called a universal language
    that transcends cultures and borders.
Its power to move us, touch our hearts, and speak
to our souls enriches our lives. Through artistic creativity
and expression, music can build bridges between individuals
and communities thousands of miles apart.

This month-long event to celebrate music and honor
the legacy of Daniel Pearl is a fitting tribute
to a man who promoted respect and dialogue throughout
the world. On this occasion, we recommit ourselves
to tolerance, compassion, and 'Harmony for Humanity'

I wish you all the best for an enjoyable event.

    Barack Obama
